You must visit Wroclaw’s charming historical town and see it with your own eyes. The picturesque Market Square took my breath away with it’s attractive colorful facades, outdoor restaurants, cafés, fountains and cute shops..
2. Dine at Gruzinskie Chaczapuri
Are you up for a big portion of hearty Polish dinner to an affordable price? I can highly recommend Gruzinskie Chaczapuri. Try their onion soup, it’s delicious!
3. Take a romantic walk in the park
There are a many wonderful places to take romantic walks. Wroclaw is a green city with numerous of parks and gardens which are mostly found along the Oder River.
4. Shop till you drop
Wroclaw’s shops are stored with everything you’d expect to find in a cosmopolitan city. There are plenty of shops in Wroclaw and they are relatively much cheaper than other places in Europe.
Souvenir hunters will find beautiful gems in the small shops hidden along the streets of the Old town.
If you are looking for international labels and big brands such as Mango, Zara, Stradivarius and Pull & Bear you can find them under one roof at the Galeria Dominikańska which is located in the city center, approx. 600 meters from the Market Square.
5. Go for an evening walk to the lovers bridge
For those who want to enjoy a romantic evening walk with a loved one, the Old City is the best place to be. In the oldest district of Ostrów Tumski, you’ll find the lovers bridge where couples on a weekend trip to Wroclaw lock their “love” padlocks onto the bridge and toss the key into the river.
6. Eat dessert at Cafeteria Chic
Located nearby the Cathedral of Wroclaw lies Cafeterie Chic. The menu might look ridiculously expensive, but let me tell you – it’s not. For only 25PLN you can treat yourself with a delicious cake. Tea or coffee is of course included.
7. Get a massage at Beauty Balinese Boutique
Need some “you” time? Beauty Balinese Boutique is the place to be for spa and wellness lovers. I had a 90 minute long massage in a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere.
8. Watch the sunset from the tallest tower in Wroclaw
Want to see a breathtaking view of the city? Jump on a public transportation or take a cab to the Skytower. It’s the tallest tower in the city, in fact it’s the tallest tower in Poland.
