Radisson Blu Strand Hotel, Stockholm – Sweden

I went on a spontaneous trip to Stockholm this weekend for both business and pleasure. I was picked up by my dearest friend Erika early in the morning at Arlanda airport. We arrived at the Radisson Blu Strand Hotel Stockholm at noon and got greeted by a warm welcoming staff. We weren’t supposed to check in before 4PM but they already had a room ready for us.

We were showed to our lovely suite where fresh fruit was waiting for us to eat. They took good care of us and made sure we had everything we needed. The hotel even called me all the way to Oslo a few days before only to ask me if there was anything that I needed or if there was anything they could help me with – that’s what I call service!

The Radisson Blu Strand hotel is situated in the heart of beautiful Stockholm, in Nybrokajen street to be more exact. The hotel has 152 elegant rooms with a unique mix of modern and historic décor. The hotel also have a restaurant Herr Julius c/o where they serve breakfast buffet from 6:30am-10:30am.

The National Museum and Kungsträgården Metro Station are a 5-minute walk away. The hotel is surrounded by many fancy restaurants, shopping streets, malls and department stores. My favorite pastry shop Ladurée, which are well known for their macarons is only a few minutes walk away from the hotel.

THE ONE BEDROOM SUITE

Thanks to Radisson Blu Strand Hotel Stockholm I had the privilege of staying in a big lovely one bedroom suite for one night with an overlooking view of the beautiful harbor featuring a kingsized bed, a nice living room, a separated bathroom, an office desk, free high- speed WI-FI, minbar, safe-deposit box and a Nespresso machine for coffee lovers.
