Templation – Siem Reap, Cambodia

When you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of the busy town of Siem Reap - Templation Hotel is the perfect place to escape. A place which offers tranquility and lets one find his or hers inner calm.

Nestled only 3 km from Pub Street. Within private gardens, bushes and trees, the five star boutique hotel offers 33 rooms set in a quiet surrounding. Templation hotel features an outdoor pool, an in-house restaurant, a bar, a fitness room consisting of a treadmill, a cross trainer and free weights.

They also have a spa offering massages and treatments specially designed for Templation by Bodia, and a line of spa products using exclusively natural and local resources with soothing scents. There's also a business center on site and a gift shop where you will find locally-made handicraft, swimwear, jewelry, Bodia natural cosmetics, gifts and other hand-made-in-Cambodia items.

Thanks to the first hotel we stayed at we were transferred safely to Templation Hotel in the afternoon. Moving on to a new hotel meant new accommodations for Stephanie-the-explorer to explore.

Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed with some refreshing drinks. After finishing with filling out a form the staff led us to the lounge area offering us some more drinks while waiting for our room to get ready.

To ensure I was ready to have another hot day in the sun I had a glass of water and cup of coffee.

The Pool Suite

As I walked into our home for the next three days and saw the dazzling view in front of me, I was blown away.

Our 70 square metre luxurious villa has two separated rooms. One master bedroom with a king sized bed featuring a flatscreen TV, a small corner sofa, an open to the sky bathroom with a tub and a rain shower. It's also equipped with a hairdryer and free toiletries.

The second room, the living room which also can be turned into an extra bedroom features a working desk, a sitting area and a separated bathroom which is located right next to the spacious terrace leading to an open pavilion and the private pool.
