The Sukosol Hotel – Bangkok, Thailand

Arriving right before midnight when it's dark in a big city I've never been to wasn't as difficult as I had imagined. As a first timer in Bangkok finding our hotel was easy even with our luggages dragged along.

The Sukosol Hotel lies only a 3-minute short walking distance away from Phaya Thai Skytrain Station. The five star hotel is situated in the heart of Bangkok, close to tourist attractions, shopping malls and other exciting places and activities the city has to offer.

The Sukosol Hotel houses as many as 500 rooms with a colonial athmosphere suitable for business people, couples and families.

The hotel features a well-equipped gym with a panoramic view of the outdoor swimming pool located on the 6th floor. It also features three Jacuzzi beds, sun lounges and a bar serving refreshing drinks and light snacks.

The hotels The Lotus Spa is located alongside the swimming pool and includes five private treatment rooms. If you are interested in learning the techniques of Massage such as Thai, the hotel offers classes daily with experienced and certified teachers for only 500 Baht per person - just remember to reserve in advance.

"Colonial style with a Thai feel" was the first thought I had in mind as I stepped into our room the next days.

Our 38 square metre air conditioned room was situated in the upper floors of the hotel.

It features a king sized bed, a flatscreen TV with Satellite and Cable channels. A working desk, a sitting area and a separated bathroom with a shower. It's also equipped with a hairdryer and free toiletries.
