Victoria Falls Safari Lodge – Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe

Summary Victoria Falls Safari lodge is closely located to the famous Victoria Falls. The staff was friendly and helpful. I politely asked for a late check out during breakfast around 10 am. In my opinion 11am is too early for a checkout, especially for this lodge. Even though it took about an hour to get a final answer, our wish was granted. The breakfast was good - they had a small gluten and lactose free station for those who are intolerant. Our bathroom was always clean but the bedroom had dust in the corners. The room was small but the balcony and mirror made it seem bigger. We had the opportunity to dine at The BOMA restaurant where they serve warthog fillet, grilled ostrich, buffalo curry and kudu steak. There were vegetarian options available there too. I would personally say that this lodge is more suitable for families with children and perhaps not for honeymooners. The entertainment at the buffet restaurant would be fun for children but may be too much for those who seek tranquility and uninterrupted privacy.
